In the Approaches to Learning Area of Interaction in the MYP students develop a variety of skills that help them become better learners. These skills are grouped together as follows:

(Teachers) Significant Approaches To Learning. These general ATL skills have been identified as a focus across all subjects. Subjects will also have their own subject specific ATL skills. The significant ATLs have been developed to develop a common language and focus for developing skills across the secondary school. These along with the subject ATLs should be considered when planning units.
